My absolutely favorite photographic location on this highway system is Beartooth Lake. In the first two weeks of July, when the high alpine region is at it's maximum state of green, the early morning light here is absolutely spectacular. The golden rays create an other worldly look of alpine splendor, that must be seen to be believed

The photo I have named, "A Darkness Visible", pictured above was taken as a morning storm lifted just a few minutes after sunrise.

This print of the month will be offered as a signed print made to fit on a 20"x40" sheet of Epson fibre semimatte fine art paper using Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks. The nominal size of this panorama is about 17"x34".

We don't deal with matting or framing so you can make a purchase at a very low price. Use the local framer of your choice or matte and frame the print yourself if you choose.

Larger prints are available on request.

Full technical details, including camera, exposure, exposure date and exact location the photo was taken will be included in a printed sheet with the print. Any special techniques used in Photoshop to tweak the final print will also be discussed.

All prints will be shipped UPS ground within the United States and the cost of shipping and packaging is included in the print price.
