The Jenny Lake area looks best
when it's at it's greenest and the wildflowers are in bloom.
For most years this takes place from mid to late June. Hidden
Falls on the far side of the lake is a popular photo spot.
It is best shot on an overcast day when the highlights in
the cascades won't become 'blown out'. Hike there and enjoy
the wildflower show!
TIMES
The wildflowers are best photographed in
the shade. Take a golden reflector or filter to remove
the blue cast. The westward looking across the lake shot
is best near sunrise.
